The Journal of the American Academy of General Physicians (JAAGP) is an on-line publication of the American Academy of General Physicians (AAGP).

The AAGP is a national non-profit academic professional association of general practitioners which was founded in 1995. The mission of the AAGP is to further the interests of general practitioners and general medicine and to contribute to the field of medicine in the areas of professional development, biomedical ethics, public health, medical and scientific research, medical education and the betterment of patient care.

Be sure the visit the AAGP's website at: www.aagp.org. At this site you can access on-line continuing medical education courses (AMA CME credits are available); you can read about the history and opinions of the AAGP; and you can view pictures of the previous meetings of the members of the AAGP. At this site you can also submit a request to obtain a complimentary information package which contains detailed information about the AAGP, the General Practice Training Program of the American College of General Medicine, Board Certification by the American Board of General Practice, and the growing menu of affinity benefits and discount and incentive programs available to AAGP members. AAGP members in good-standing can also access the members only section of this website. In the members only section, the AAGP has an on-line discount medical book store.
